The sweet spot is around 12–15 months before your wedding. This gives you plenty of time to explore, find the gown that feels like yours, have it made, and complete any final alterations without rushing.

At the moment, we’re prioritizing appointments for brides getting married in 2027. If your wedding is more than 15 months away, we recommend waiting a little before booking so we can welcome you at just the right time in your bridal journey.

Getting married sooner? Don’t worry — come see us. Even if your wedding is only 1–2 months away, we may still have beautiful options for you, including gowns available to purchase off-the-rack. For selected styles, expedited production may also be possible for an additional fee.

Bring the people whose opinions matter most to you. You’re welcome to invite up to 3 guests to join you for your appointment.

We keep our fittings intimate so there’s enough space for you to enjoy the experience — and for your stylist to give you all the attention you deserve.

Have a slightly bigger bridal crew in mind? Just let us know in advance. We may be able to welcome up to 2 additional guests for $50 per person, subject to salon approval.

For selected styles, yes. Your gown can be produced according to your individual measurements, and certain design details may also be customized depending on the style.

Your stylist will talk you through what’s possible, along with any additional costs and production time, once you’ve found your gown.

One thing to keep in mind: even a made-to-measure gown may need a few final alterations to make the fit just right. Alterations are arranged and charged separately.

Our wedding gowns at the Milla Nova NYC salon range from approximately $2,500 to $15,000, depending on the collection, materials, and complexity of the design.

A made-to-order gown usually takes around 24–26 weeks to produce. We also recommend leaving some extra time before your wedding for fittings and final alterations.

Need your gown sooner? Depending on the style and our current production capacity, we may be able to speed things up:

Rush Order — 16–18 weeks: +30% of the gown price

Priority Rush Order — 8–10 weeks: +50% of the gown price

And if your timeline is even tighter, ask your stylist about our off-the-rack gowns, which are available to take home without waiting for production.

Most of our salon samples range from S to XXL, although not every gown is available in every size.

If there’s a particular size you’d feel most comfortable trying, let us know when you book. We’ll check what’s available and prepare the best options for you.

And don’t worry if the gown you fall for isn’t sampled in exactly your size. Our stylists know all the fitting tricks to help you see how it will look and feel when made in the right size for you.

Start with a little inspiration. Browse our collections, save the gowns you love, and take note of any silhouettes, fabrics, or details that catch your eye. It gives your stylist a lovely starting point for getting to know your style.

Already have a few Milla Nova gowns on your wishlist? Add their names when booking so we can check whether they’re currently available to try in New York.

On the day, we recommend wearing seamless, neutral-colored underwear. If you already have your wedding shoes, or a pair with a similar heel height, feel free to bring them along.

And if you arrive with absolutely no idea what you want? That’s perfectly fine too. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you come in. Your stylist will introduce you to different silhouettes, fabrics, and details and help you discover what feels most like you.

Tuesday–Thursday

Appointments are complimentary. A credit card is required to secure your reservation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, as well as no-shows, are subject to a $60 fee.

Friday–Sunday

Appointments are $100. If your plans change, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. No-shows are non-refundable — the $100 fee will still apply.

We appreciate the advance notice, as it allows us to welcome another bride in your place.
A bridal appointment lasts 60 minutes, giving you and your stylist time to talk about your wedding, explore different styles, and try on your favorites.

Absolutely. We have a selection of gowns available to purchase off-the-rack and take home without waiting for production — a great option if your wedding is coming up soon.

Our selection changes regularly, so your stylist will be happy to show you what’s available during your appointment. Off-the-rack gowns are sold in their current salon condition and size, and may require alterations.

Alterations are not included in the price of your gown and are charged separately.

Once your gown arrives, it may need a few final adjustments to get the fit just right. What’s needed, and the cost, will depend on your gown and individual fit. Our team will guide you through the process, timing, and pricing.

A 50% deposit of the total gown price is required to place your order. The remaining 50% is due according to the terms of your order and before you receive your gown.

Alterations, rush production, customizations, and any additional services are charged separately where applicable.

Your stylist will walk you through all costs and payment details before your order is confirmed.

Wedding gowns are ordered directly through our salon rather than online.

We recommend booking a bridal appointment so you can try on your favorites and work with your stylist to find the right gown, size, and any customization options you’d like to explore.

You can always browse our collections online beforehand and save the gowns you’d love to try.

Not every gown you fall in love with online will be waiting for you at our NYC salon — our selection changes regularly and features styles from across Milla Nova collections.

Already have your favorites? Share their names when you book, and we’ll check what’s available before your visit.

And if your dream gown isn’t currently in the salon, don’t worry. Show us what caught your eye, and your stylist will find other gowns with the silhouette, fabric, fit, or details you loved.

Absolutely. If you leave your appointment and realize you can’t stop thinking about a gown you tried on, there’s no need to come back just to place your order.

Simply get in touch with us and your stylist will take it from there. We’ll review the gown, size, color, available customizations, production timeline, and payment details with you before confirming your order.
