The 82nd Venice Film Festival red carpet was a stage for unforgettable Milla Nova moments. Needless to say, we’re still in awe of Iris Mittenaere, Tamara Kalinic, and Gabrielle Caunesil.

82nd Venice Film Festival red carpet looks by Milla Nova
September 4, 2025
Iris Mittenaere embodied the spirit of Hollywood’s golden age in a custom scarlet mermaid gown, reimagining one of Brigitte Bardot’s most iconic looks for today. The idea came from Iris herself, for whom this piece was created exclusively. She envisioned her red carpet moment as a heartfelt tribute to her mother — a gesture that made this appearance deeply personal. When designing this bespoke gown, we drew inspiration from the timeless glamour of 1950s Hollywood — reinterpreted with a modern sensibility.
Tamara Kalinic’s bridal era found its perfect expression in a symbolic choice — stepping onto the red carpet in a real wedding gown. She made splashes in our couture Orvella wedding gown, featuring a sculpted, embellished corset and a cascading, wave-like skirt designed to hold its shape while mirroring the movement of the sea. We’re delighted that Tamara included our creation among her unforgettable red carpet looks.

Gabrielle Caunesil Pozzoli radiated screen-siren allure in a sculptural couture Monique gown, reimagined in sleek black exclusively for her. With its structured, form-fitting corset bodice accentuated by a striking metal fastening frame, paired with a fitted, slightly flared skirt, the look merged avant-garde design with timeless sophistication.
