PLEASE TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR LOCATION FOR THE WEDDING. WHY DID YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND CHOOSE IT?

We really loved the idea of having our wedding in a rural part of Ibiza. When we found Atzaro, we fell in love with the magical authentic style and glamour of the hotel – the courtyards, terraces, palm trees, and of course, the beautiful vegetable garden was something we knew we had to have.

WERE THERE PERSONAL TOUCHES IN THE DECOR OR CEREMONY? PERHAPS YOU CAN RECALL SOME DETAILS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU.

We did our research into celebrants as we really wanted to be able to personalize our ceremony.

We found Carly who was amazing and suggested writing our own vows. Following her suggestion, we crafted personalized vows, resulting in an intimate moment during the ceremony that will forever remain etched in our memories.

I found our flower lady, Patricia, through Instagram and fell in love not only with her style but the fact she and her husband grew their own organic flowers. She provided us with a gorgeous mood board based on ideas and colors I had put forward to her.

WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT OF YOUR WEDDING DAY?

Honestly, the most memorable part of the day for both of us was just after we walked down the aisle. The moment we stopped, looked at each other and realized this was all we had ever dreamed of and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

WHAT MADE YOUR WEDDING SPECIAL?

Friends, family, food, drink, sunshine, music, dancing!

WERE THERE ANY UNEXPECTED CHALLENGES OR SURPRISES IN THE PLANNING PROCESS OR THE WEDDING ITSELF? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?

We decided to plan the wedding ourselves so throughout the process there was a

few challenges but I am a very organised person so overcoming these was ok.

I did some research online into where I could try on Mila Nova dresses. Most of them

didn’t stock the one that impressed me – the Prima gown. I contacted a mum and daughter who own a wedding dress shop in a beautiful cabin outside their home. They were both amazing and helped me track down my dress. Before I even put it on I knew it was my dress!
