Bétina and Cédric celebrated their love in the enchanting setting of Castel Bay Palace, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. As the artistic directors of their own wedding, the couple crafted a chic, timeless atmosphere. What was the main idea of your wedding?

First of all, it’s important to know that my husband and I designed the entire artistic direction of our wedding. We wanted a chic and timeless celebration to create a luminous, magical moment for our guests.
White dominated all the decoration choices: white flowers, a white draped backdrop for the ceremony, and small white satin bows on the chairs.

All the organization and decoration were handled by MC2 MON AMOUR. Even though we had already planned the artistic direction, they brought everything to life perfectly. Caroline understood our ideas and executed them flawlessly.

Please tell us a little bit about your location for the wedding. Why did you and your husband choose it?

It was love at first sight! We visited Castel Bay at the beginning of our search, and we were immediately captivated. It overlooks the city of Hyères in the south of France, facing the Mediterranean Sea.
The estate is exceptional, set in a lush green landscape, and its white façade perfectly matched the style of our wedding.

I want to thank Julie, the owner of the venue, who was incredibly kind and professional from start to finish.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Walking down the stairs with my father and seeing my husband during the ceremony will always be my favorite moment. I also love remembering my husband’s gaze during my speech.

What made your wedding special?

What stood out most to our guests was the atmosphere! We had a duo of musicians for the cocktail hour and a DJ for the rest of the evening. We meticulously prepared very specific playlists over several months, and I think everyone loved them.
The location is also the masterpiece of your wedding.. Castel Bay is MAGICAL!

Classic, timeless, and elegant.

I made a last-minute appointment at LA MARIÉE CAPRICIEUSE in Paris because I couldn’t find anything in other showrooms. I tried on several dresses before finding this bustier and high-waisted skirt ensemble  — simply wow!

I wanted something very structured, couture-inspired, and fashionable. I knew at the first fitting that this was the one. Most importantly, I felt completely comfortable in it, which was essential for the most important day of my life.

Which dress did you choose? How did you understand it was that one?

I chose the Rita model; it was simply everything I had imagined, without ever thinking I would one day find this kind of cut!

THE VENDORS:

I’m proud that we selected each of our vendors ourselves (except the florist and decorator, who were chosen by MC2 MON AMOUR). I’m so happy to have planned my wedding from A to Z with such kind and supportive people. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy every single moment of this wonderful day.
