What was the main idea of your wedding?

We dreamed of creating the most beautiful and fun weekend with all our loved ones – a celebration filled with love, great music, delicious food, and heartfelt conversations.

Please tell us a little bit about your location for the wedding. Why did you and your husband choose it?

We got married at Villa Giona – a historic castle in the heart of Valpolicella, a breathtaking region nestled between Verona and Lake Garda.

Years ago, my parents stayed there, and when they sent me photos of the villa, I immediately thought: “One day, I want to get married here.” So when the proposal finally came, we didn’t hesitate for a second. We called the villa right away and, within a week, had set our wedding date.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

There were so many beautiful moments, but one of the very first was when we arrived at the get-together. Being welcomed by all our loved ones and having the chance to embrace each of them was truly unforgettable.

Were there any unexpected challenges or surprises in the planning process or the wedding itself? How did you overcome them?

Of course, there were a few challenges along the way, but I never let them unsettle me. Life isn’t perfect – and that’s the beauty of it. I never expected our wedding to be perfect either, only full of love.

The people.

I found my wedding dress on Pinterest and, once I realized it was by Milla Nova, I looked for a boutique that carried the brand. The moment I tried it on, I immediately knew: this is it.

Which dress did you choose? How did you understand it was that one?

I chose the Matilda gown – it truly had everything I ever dreamed of. A real princess dress, yet still timeless and understated. What captivated me most was the long train with its delicate row of buttons.
