Please tell us a little bit about your location for the wedding. Why did you and your husband choose it?

Our wedding planner and designer, Julia from Feelingood Events, immediately understood our expectations when looking for a reception venue. She made a selection of venues for us and on our first visit with one in particular, we fell in love.

The Château des Trois Fontaines in Pernes-les-Fontaines was the inspiration for our wedding. We were won over by the beauty and modern feel of the château's interior. The Venue was stunning.

We wanted an outdoor wedding, but our main concern was to ensure we had a plan B. The château is equipped with a large hall in case of bad weather, and its decoration is just as breathtaking.

Were there personal touches in the decor or ceremony? Perhaps you can recall some details that are important to you.

Our main wish was to bring a touch of elegance and modernity to our wedding while keeping the traditional feel.

We let Julia take the lead on colors, materials, and mood. She met all our expectations, and we were delighted with the result: a harmonious decoration, tastefully executed.

Our stationery was created with taste and care by Feeline création, a true artist in the art of stationery.

The floral decoration was created by Laurence Lacheré and Bruno. We entrusted her with the design of the floral arrangements and were also keen to have exceptional flowers such as the Dalhia and above all the David Austin rose.

Describe your wedding atmosphere in three words.

Provence, blue & elegant.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The most memorable moment of our wedding was the ceremony and the emotion of walking up the aisle and seeing the love of my life – an unforgettable moment in our lives.

What made your wedding special?

Our family comes from both Paris and London, and we wanted to bring them together for this special occasion. We asked Julia to organize a mojito cocktail party on the eve of our wedding with MrMojito as workshop master, and a brunch the next day. Our families were so excited to take part and enjoyed the château's swimming pool.

Were there any unexpected challenges or surprises in the planning process or the wedding itself? How did you overcome them?

Everything was well organized, with no surprises or unforeseen events. Our only concern was that we weren't sure about the weather, but we had a plan B for that, thankfully the sun was shining and we were delighted.

Five tips for couples who are planning their wedding.

Choose a wedding planner/designer who shares your vision of the word "wedding", who will be able to meet your expectations, and who will be totally responsive. This is essential for the organization of your wedding and the coordination of the big day.
A photographer and videographer on your wedding day is crucial. We choose The Salty Door for their personality and amazing work.
Relieve yourself of all tasks before the big day, and enjoy the moment with your loved ones, as the day flies by.
Select service providers with whom you'll immediately feel at home, and who understand your expectations.

Five tips for brides-to-be.

For the wedding dress try-on appointment, I'd advise you to go with one or two people, but your first instinct is often right, so listen only to yourself.
Take the time to refocus on yourself before you walk down the aisle, write down those vows, and read them aloud.
Choose someone to take care of your make-up and hair, with whom you'll feel at ease.
Have the option of changing heels during the evening to make yourself more comfortable.
